So dig into the details on a red Stingray that delivers a good-looking V8 classic. Red Corvettes are always a nice way to represent this red-blooded American sports car. This an upgrade later in life, and so it has a nice gloss in the sunshine. And these earlier C3s are great for radiating light because they have more brightwork. The sharply-pointed front bumper and two-piece rear are newer pieces. Plus, you have the full window trim, rockers, fender vents, and optional luggage rack. This one also has a nice aggressive style with upgrades like the LT1-style hood and those attention-grabbing side pipes. The rear tires are even a little meatier to add to the stance. You're going to want to leave the T-tops out on this one so that you can show off the new and upgraded seats. These bring some of the exterior red's boldness into the black interior. Add in the same two-tone style on the newer carpeting, and you have a well-coordinated look inside and out. Other nice features include the AM/FM/cassette stereo, and don't forget that this is from the years when you can remove the rear window for a convertible like breeze without giving up rigidity. This is a well-done sports package with a Hurst shifter, three-spoke sports steering wheel, and full gauge package, including large speedo and tach. Under the hood is a tidy presentation that holds the strong-running 327 cubic-inch V8. This has nice features like a Quadrajet four-barrel carburetor and an upgraded Edelbrock Torker intake. Plus, the headers add even more power while flowing to those rumbling side pipes. The smooth-shifting Muncie M20 four-speed manual transmission means control of the power and thunder is fully in your hands. This is a Corvette that like for you to feel the road, and it's a nice handling machine with four-wheel disc brakes and a fully independent suspension.
